  1. PHYSICIANS Mutual is a very good insurance company, I am very satisfied with the insurance they provide. I am so glad I became a member with them. I got information through the mail and I read about it the premiums are very cheap. And this company and hope others become members also.

  2. Unable to access account as to setup an account on line.
My zip code. ..for some reason is not being accepted, nor is my birth date accepted. I need help to access my account to be able to file a claim on line. HELP!

  3. I WOULD LIKE A PROVIDER PORTAL TO RETRIEVE EOB’S ON CLAIMS PAID. WE ARE GETTING PAYMENTS VIA EFT BUT NOT GETTING ALL OUR EOB’S.

  4. I am a provider and I would also like to see eligibility and benefits information and check claim status, and retrieve EOBs through a provider portal.

    • I would also like to know. I am trying to check claims status. I have googled it and can not find anything. Has anyone ever responded to this?

  5. I WOULD LIKE A PROVIDER PORTAL TO RETRIEVE EOB’S ON CLAIMS PAID. WE ARE GETTING PAYMENTS VIA EFT BUT NOT GETTING ALL OUR EOB’S.

  6. Does Physician Mutual have a website that I can access to check patient claim status and eligibility? I work in Billing at Unitypoint Methodist/Proctor. We bill for 3 different tax ID#’s that I would need access to this info. Please send me a link and instructions how to set up an account.

    • I am a provider as well and its apparent that you are in serious need for a provider portal access to eligibility and claim status.

  7. Please advise “PROVIDERS” how we can obtained claim status via modern technology in 2017 by using the web for assistance.

  8. I AGREE WITH ALL SAID ABOVE, I TOO AM A PROVIDER AND WANT ACCESS TO WEBSITE TO CHECK CLAIM STATUS AND ELIGIBILTY FOR PATIENTS, I HAVE SEVERAL CLAIMS TO CHECK AND DO NOT WANT TO HOLD OR HAVE TO TROUBLE THE REP WITH
    MORE THEN ONE PATIENT INQUIRY.

  9. It is 2018 and you guys do not have access to a provider portal? calling customer services for several claims is not the ideal due that yours agents get annoyed after or 3 of them. we do not received all EOB so we do not know where the payment supposed to be apply. it will be very convenience and efficient if you , the company create a portal for provider as well.

    thank you,

    • You are right. Insurance has only access for member.

It is not acceptable at all that insurance does not have a provider portal even in 2019, age of modern science & tech!

  10. It is called Modern Technology for a reason—– would be an asset to your company to have the provider portal where we can check eligibility or status of claim, instead of making a phone call and have to be on hold for a length of time. My time is valuable just like everyone else. I agree with everyone above that wrote in, this has been going on since 2015—it is now 2019…. Please—-get a provider portal

  11. A Provider portal would be an excellent idea. Almost every insurance company has a portal for providers. I agree 100% w/ previous comments. Also, dont show a provider portal when there truely isn’t one!!

  12. You need a provider portal access for claims. Clearly you don’t care or no one reads these comments because people have been asking since 2015.

  13. It will be nice to have a provider portal to check if claims have been paid or check eligibility. this make the patient life easier as well when they want to know the status of their claims.

  14. With all of US(these Providers) writing in about a Provider PORTAL for us to review eligibility & claim status, why hasn’t there been a response posted to your web site about this matter? It would be nice to know how much longer we shall have to wait? Our practice has many Medicare

  15. There is a provider portal but you have to enter the claim # to check a claim. We don’t have the claim #. That’s why we are trying to check the claim status. We get efts but no eob or ern for any payment so we spend hours on the phone. Update: I did call and they said we can register at providerpayments.com or call 866-506-2830 or 888-459-8914 to get the eobs

  16. A provider portal that allows checking of claim status using the patient’s name and date of birth would be a great tool for providers. Virtually every other insurance offers that option (or some variation), so it would sure be helpful if Physicians Mutual would follow suit.
