About A John Hancock Insurance Plan
When your insurance policy is written, you are given a single premium amount for one year of the policy. That premium can be broken into smaller payments payable throughout the year as monthly, quarterly or semi-annual payments. You may be able to change your premium payment plan. Online payments are accepted at http://www.johnhancock.com/life/epay/.
The three main life insurance policies offered by John Hancock Insurance are Term, Universal and Variable.
- Term Life Insurance: With Term Life Insurance from John Hancock, the insured is guaranteed continuing coverage for the length of the term, typically 10, 15 or 20 years. Premiums are level during the term.
- Universal Life Insurance: Universal coverage allows the buyer to mold a personal life insurance plan around future goals and plan. Coverage ranges from low-cost to high-benefit. Customers have the option of choosing a plan that grows in value over time.
- Variable Life Insurance: Variable life insurance is an investment plan that allows the insured to accrue cash value on the life insurance policy. The value can be used for family finances after death or as supplemental income during retirement years.

This has been a horrible experience!!!!!!! I don’t know what my mother (or any other senior citizen for that matter) could do if they didn’t have an advocate to navigate your system.
I have been told six times, at least, that I will hear back from an agent about the status of my case.
Please contact me. Lisa Daiels
I work for an agency that processes LTC claim denials. We are a healthcare company in CA. We have locations all over the U.S. We have had to advocate for seniors and walk them through the claims process. If you need assistance with processing your LTC homecare or Assisted living claim.
Try contacting a local Coprporate office of JH close to where you live. Look up a local JH rep, broker, and go see him or her. DONT GIVE UP!! call them everyday, 2, 3, even 4 times a day- Squeaky wheel gets the grease. Good Luck to you and your husband
My husband and I have JH long term care policies. We are both in our 80 s. He has an established claim. As his needs have increased I have filed claims for care at 2 facilities. He is now in full time care so I need to file a claim to be reimbursed for what we have spent. I am unable to find the help I need. Haven’t heard from my agent in years. Can’t seem to find the forms I need to send in paid bills. Where do I go for help?
If any one reading this posting can help me please contact me. I am quite frustrated.
Horrible Experience!!! After 5 months, over 15 phone calls, I finally drove to a JH Corp office in Columbus OH (60miles away). Walked in and asked for help with treats of frustration in my eyes, finally found a re., in Cbus, to help me and the claim is almost settled or wrapped up in 5days. If you google JH customer complaints it will blow you away..millions of NEGATIVE comments, experiences.
Need Help? Try calling or driving to a large city near you and walk into a JH broker, rep or Corp headquarters.
